...since the Hillsborough disaster?...for those not old enough, it was before the start of an FA cup semifinal between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in which i believe 90+ people eventually died from being crushed in the stands..thus inciting a mass pandemonium, and eventually leading to the remodeling of stadiums around England...i'm sure there are tributes being paid today...and i am sure you can read up on the incident on the web..i personally remember even though i was pre-teen at the time...but the soccer club i was part of...was a mash up of 1st and 2nd generation south american and euros...one of my team mates cousin or uncle(damn if i can't remember which one?) was a casualty of this...never forgot this day...and never forgot this kids face and how gutted he was when he got the news...it was during a soccer tournament during easter vacation in baltimore....funny the things you remember and where you were and what you were doing and who you were with?
